Things to do in Australia before we’re dead

Like every overly organized person we made a to do list for our visit to Australia:

- A visit to the Sydney Opera House
- Celebrating New Year in Sydney
- Pet a croc on the back
- Get bitten by a red back spider
- At least one night sleeping in a tent in the tropical forest near Darwin
- Swimming in the Great Barrier Reef
- Try to learn the Ozzie accent
- Try to drink more than the average Oz in an outback bar
- Try to learn an Ozzie some dirty Dutch words
- Get ourselves a native aboriginal tattoo, old school
- Take a camel back ride, take a picture of it and send it to everyone telling we ended up in Nigeria
- Get a cameo appearance (at the least) in Neighbours or Home and Away
- Climb the tallest mountain in Australia (Mount Kosciuszko)
- Try to outbox a ‘roo
